I have a BS in Fine Art from Skidmore College and a AAS in Graphic Design and Photography from Sage College Albany. In addition, I have taken many classes at the Arts Center of the Capital Region located in Troy, NY as well as Saratoga Arts located in Saratoga Springs, NY to learn new skills and to keep my art fresh. I found the medium of pastel to be very challenging and ultimately rewarding. It has been an honor to have taken multiple pastel classes with renowned artists Robert Carsten (located in Vermont) and Takeyce Walter (located in Round Lake, NY). They have helped me to refine my techniques. I have exhibited as an alumnus at both Skidmore College and Sage College of Albany as well as members shows at the Arts Center of the Capital Region and Saratoga Arts. In addition, I exhibited at the Annual Barn show at the Mansion Inn of Saratoga (Rock City Falls, NY), the Cohoes Artist Showcase (Cohoes, NY) and I have had solo exhibits at the Old Chatham Country Store (Old Chatham, NY) and Nine Pin Cider (Albany, NY). Many of these pieces are now in private collections.
